WHAT IS REIKI?
Reiki is a hands-on, Japanese form of alternative medicine which emerged in the late 1800's and is commonly referred to as energy healing. The term comes from the Japanese words "rei," meaning universal, and "ki," which is vital life force energy that flows through all living things. People see reiki practitioners for treatments to help relax, reduce stress, pain, anxiety, fatigue and more. Reiki can also be infused into objects to remove negative energy and to create a more peaceful, soothing, and harmonious environment.
Welcome! I'm MacKenzie. I am a Colorado native, originally from Grand Junction, and I currently live in Aurora. I have always enjoyed art, & can remember more than one occasion where I've gotten in trouble for doodling in class or during a lecture.
I started out drawing with pencil, pen, & colored pencil, as well as doodling, but I started re-exploring paint-pouring during the pandemic as a creative outlet. Friends started reaching out to see if my paint pours were for sale, so I took a leap, and thus Elevated Soul Art was born!
I'm a big believer in good vibes so I infuse all of my paintings with reiki and positive intentions for my paintings to bring happiness, joy, and calmness to your home. I also started making my own moon water, and mixing moon water in with my paints for my paint pours for additional cleansing properties and positive intention setting.
While I work as a Commercial Underwriter for my full-time job, I am also Co-Founder & a Paranormal Investigator for an all female paranormal group called XX Paranormal Communications. I also do intuitive readings & card readings through my group, Elevated Soul Readings and Reiki, & run a female empowerment group called the Brilliant and Beautiful Empowerment (BaBE) Collective.
I am incredibly grateful to be married to my best friend, Erasmo Casiano, who is the co-owner of Create Cooking School, & I am a proud fur-baby mom to two amazing pups, Summer & Papillon. I enjoy hiking and the great outdoors, food, music, art, & traveling as much as I can.
